Questions people ask
Which areas do you cover?
We’re based in Eckington and work across Sheffield and North East Derbyshire, including Mosborough, Killamarsh, Renishaw, Dronfield, Staveley and Chesterfield. If you’re nearby and not on the list, just ask.
Can I send photos of my roof first?
Yes, please do. Send a few photos on WhatsApp to 07805 283610. It helps us understand the problem before we visit, and bring the right materials.
Will I get a price before any work starts?
Yes. We look at the roof first and give you a clear price for the work before anything starts.
What is a GRP roof?
GRP stands for glass reinforced plastic, often called fibreglass. It’s laid as one continuous, seamless layer over a timber deck, so there are no joins for water to get through. It suits flat roofs on extensions, dormers, garages and bay windows. More about GRP flat roofs.
My roof is leaking. What should I do?
Call or message us as soon as you can. Until we get to you, catch the drips with a bucket and move anything valuable out of the way. Please don’t go up on the roof yourself.
Do you repair chimneys?
Yes, including replacing cracked flaunching, re-bedding loose pots and repointing stacks. More about chimney repairs.
